Linen tape is a magical yarn, and this hand-dyed, lightly variegated version is simply fabulous. An owner favorite, this yarn is smooth and soft to the touch, with a cool hand and none of the stiffness of wet spun linen that you may have used before. Sturdy, but with great drape and a touch of natural sheen, this is a yarn that is perfectly suited to Chattanooga's temperate climate. It's breathable and light for summer tanks but has enough weight to make a perfect 3 season pullover or cardigan. It wears beautifully without pilling and just gets softer over time.

Mode at Rowan Alpaca Wool is the perfect way to wear alpaca in the south! If you love the dreamy soft squish of alpaca, but find it a bit warm, this yarn is blended with 50% soft wool for thermal versatility (I just made up the phrase "thermal versatility." Tell the others!). It's in a light sport weight gauge, so you can make a sweater that will go comfortably from Fall all the way through Spring, and will feel so lovely without losing its shape. It has a lovely, tight ply for stitch patterning and cables, and will wear beautifully with normal care.

We love a good three-season knit or crochet project, and this new yarn from our friends at Urth yarns fits the bill. In a comfortable but not-too-slow-to-knit DK weight, this light and breathable cotton-linen blend is perfect for short sleeve and sleeveless summer tops and all-year-round long sleeve pullovers. The cotton and linen take the dye with different intensities, so you get a sophisticated, slightly marled effect in each color. It feels soft and slightly crisp to the touch and will be a sturdy and comfy yarn for all your most wearable garments.
A breathable blend of cotton and linen, Etesia brings a crisp structure and effortless drape to warm-weather projects. Light yet durable, it softens beautifully with wear, making it perfect for transitional garments and layering. Etesia is dyed in a sun-washed palette complimented with a few brighter notes.

We were so blown away by the feel of this yarn! It's a classic-looking tweed, with a looser ply and light weight, in a traditional aran weight, but it's SO SOFT! It has that gorgeous rustic tweed look, but none of the rustic ITCH -- it's dreamy soft!
