Urth Etesia

We love a good three-season knit or crochet project, and this new yarn from our friends at Urth yarns fits the bill.  In a comfortable but not-too-slow-to-knit DK weight, this light and breathable cotton-linen blend is perfect for short sleeve and sleeveless summer tops and all-year-round long sleeve pullovers. The cotton and linen take the dye with different intensities, so you get a sophisticated, slightly marled effect in each color.  It feels soft and slightly crisp to the touch and will be a sturdy and comfy yarn for all your most wearable garments.

A breathable blend of cotton and linen, Etesia brings a crisp structure and effortless drape to warm-weather projects. Light yet durable, it softens beautifully with wear, making it perfect for transitional garments and layering. Etesia is dyed in a sun-washed palette complimented with a few brighter notes.

Machine wash cold with cold water & dry flat

A little extra care will ensure you prolong the life of your projects. Most of our yarns are machine-washable on a cool, delicate cycle, however hand-washing in cold water with a small amount of wool wash is highly recommended. Lay flat to dry, never use a dryer. Washing your gauge swatch is advised, especially if using contrasted, dark, or saturated colors.
